You are clueless. Turkey and Russia fought countless wars throughout their history and the main reason Turkey is in NATO was because of the Soviets during the cold war. You only made that comment because Erdogan and Putin seem friendly to each other at times but you are utterly wrong when it comes to relations between Turkey and Russia

After collapse of Ottoman Empire, communist Russia was the ONE to supply gold, grain and weapon to revive Turkey (against fake promises to join communist movement). Turkey used NATO as a shelter when USSR start to make debt claims in 1950th. Two sisters argue time to time, but complicated love story continues.

As a Turkish resident, I cannot understand what the US doing, pushing Türkiye out from the West jarringly weakens NATO's control over the Middle East and Caucoses, and also triggers our country to enhance collaborations with Russia and China, as an example ongoing nuclear power plant construction with Russia in Akkuyu or serious steps for reaching a momerendum of understanding for a new npp construction with China in Sinop. To sum up, in a conjecture like this I think getting well with Türkiye is crucial.

The city with the highest number of Kurds is Istanbul. It would be a disaster for the Kurds if they were trapped in a Kurdish state to be established in eastern Turkey.

Some leaders of PKK terrorist organization? Or maybe new leaders of Isis to orginise them back? Turkey would not harm USA soldiers. There are soneone the US was protecting in that area.

Turkish people do not like the USA and especially the military policies of western countries. We are tired of years of military sanctions against Turkey. We have tolerated this situation for years. But it only happens up to a point.
