Finally, you may live on copium, but the Afghans can't live on natural gas alone. Afghanistan needs foreign currency, not copium.

It is an economic entity not political.The true measure of sentiments towards Russia was demonstrated in the UN in February 2023. 141 nations voted in favor of Russia to leave Ukraine ( even Afghanistan voted in favor of this), 5 voted for Russia and 35 nations abstained. So the true friends of Russia are 5 in total. Even China abstained. Meaning nations interests comes first before loyalty to Russia.

I'm confused, how is Russia the embarrassment here? The US is already working with the Taliban after donating significant military supplies, helicopters, armoured vehicles to the Taliban during a chaotic departure. A lot of Western countries are working with the Taliban now, I'm from New Zealand and our government has even donated to the Taliban lol. You need a reality check.
