Not exactly correct. Young lady who works at my gym in NH is from Mariupol, her parents are still there. She is aware a US cabal enabled Azov etc. to stage a coup, and believes that Ukraine is being led by patriots. She's 21, I have no idea how this happens but it relates to how a person perceives the wealth here in the US, I think. And she demonstrates that Ukrainians generically hate Russians the way Cubans hate Americans.

Russia can’t withdraw from its current situation. The west including Zelensky when he was at Minsk agreement in Germany laughed at the signing because the west knew it meant nothing to gain time for Ukraine to build up their military. Ukraine people need to uprise against Zelensky and the US to stop this madness from within. That’s the best way.

For the past 3 decades, I've been trying to explain to Americans the importance of being able to see the world through the lens of other countries/cultures, as it provides an accurate perspective of oneself and the world.

This is why I see it as dangerous to break apart the narrative all in one go, if you take it apart bit by bit people will be angry but can come to terms with it, blast it wide open and there is likely to be a revolt that cannot be controlled and that would serve nobody's interests.

Dr. Matthew Crosston forgot that those 4 East Ukraine regions are already included into Russian Constitution as the integral parts of the Russian Federation. Thus they cannot be transfered back to Ukraine. Besides, those a historically Russian lands populated mostly by ethnic Russians that nominally become Ukrainian only within Soviet Union.
