I've heard similar things before. Like this was done to completely cutoff Germany from Russia and make Germany more dependant on the USA

Also more dependant on China? And also make Russia modem dependent on China?All roads lead to china, while China didn't have to do anything or lose anything in terms of political capital. If anything China got the best deal. Save Russia, and also euro will blame USA or Russia for their destroyed economy and not China.
